The catalog to a loan exhibition of Japanese arts from Japanese public and private collections, which toured the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Detroit Art Institute, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Royal Ontario Museum. It included sculpture, painting, calligraphy, metalwork, lacquer, ceramics, and textiles.
