Hand Carved Free Standing Bali Wood Sculpture Very Deep Relief 9 3/4" High

9 3/4" X 7 1/4" X 1 1/2" free standing sculpture or wall plaque. This is a wonderful carving. Just think of the time it took to hand carve this. There is no evident damage. The are no cracks. The wood appears well aged. It is Deer and Elephants themed. Asian deer range from China and Nepal to Indonesia in both forest and savanna, as does the Indian Elephant. You can find examples of similar pieces in many South East Asian countries. This piece is probably From Bali. I am not sure of the kind of wood.
