Aftermarket chargers will void your Magellan warranty so do not risk it.  Charger plugs into your cigarette/auxilary port and connects to your GPS unit to power or charge it.  This charger is brand new in bulk packaging.
This car charger allows you to charge your GPS unit while using it in the car.  Many chargers sold elsewhere are not compatible with Magellan models and will go into a "Sync Mode" where the GPS thinks it is connected to a computer.  Because this car charger is a genuine Magellan car charger, it is designed to work with your GPS unit.
