    Description

For sale is this vintage roadster bike by Simpsons (Canadian department store). The marque is Ridewell, most likely made in the 1930's. Searching online yielded very few results, a similar bike was dated 1937. It could be manufactured by CCM or one of British manufacturer such as BSA or Hercules.
Many of the parts have made in England stamps on them, headset has CCM stamping. Coaster brake hub has stamping on the oil port cover, but I cannot make out what it says. Rims and fenders have hand painted pin-striping.
It runs perfectly but probably need some restoration to the original paint (T-cut, rust converter, wax etc.).
The frame has no rust damage or dents despite its age. The chromed handlebar has some flaking on the underside.
Almost all the parts are original with exception of newly fitted vintage chain guard and pump.
Tires are new 700 x 47c Continental RideTour, the rims are F13 Canadian size, equal to 622mm ISO. New rim tape and tubes.
Please note saddle and clamp are not included.
The original saddle has perished, I cannot find a nice vintage sprung saddle in time, the one shown is just for illustrative purpose.
