*THEATER POSTER USA c1901* "YORK STATE FOLKS" This is an original theater poster announcing that "Fred E. Wright Presents Arthur Sidman in York State Folks" which was made "Copyright,1901 By The U.S. Printing Co. Cincinnati & New York Russell-Morgan Print 5175". Vintage poster retains it's appeal and charm with lithographed artwork depicting the lovely "Emeline" to promote this Broadway play which opened at the Majestic Theater in 1905. Printing company providing this classic has morphed several times but continues today with some highly collectible archives. Fragile ephemera measuring 18" x 26" does show paper repairs, paper loss, discoloration, wrinkles and tears and comes plastic-wrapped on a foamboard backer.
